Creating a More Sustainable Future for Rapid City and Beyond
Rapid City Sustainability Committee (RCSC) meetings are open to the public and held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month at 5:30 pm. Meetings are normally held in the Circle of Friends Community Room on 2nd floor at Rapid City City Hall (300 6th Street) with the option to also join by Zoom.
Work Plan
RCSC maintains a list of priority projects, and corresponding goals and objectives, that guides the committee’s work each year.
Annual Report
RCSC presents a report of their activities to the Rapid City City Council each year.
Rapid City Recycles
The Committee is always working toward more sustainable waste management practices. This includes helping to promote Rapid City’s Recycling program. Curbside pick up schedules and recycling information can be found on the Rapid City Solid Waste website.
